Closing Your Account

This is what you need to do, if you would like to close your account. Please make sure that this is what you want to do, before following the instructions.

1. In order to delete your account, click on your avatar image and then on ’My settings’ from the drop-down. 
    
2. In the settings, click on ‘Close Account’. This will bring up a message that explains to you that you will need to start from scratch, if you close your account and want to rejoin at a later time. 
3. Carefully read the warning message. If you are absolutely sure that you want to close your account, after reading the warning, click the ‘Close Account’ button. 
4. Once your account has been deleted, all your post will show as coming from 'Former Community Member'.
